Now you can use Smart OTP instead of receiving OTP via email or phone number (SMS) when making transactions.
In updated version 1.3.8, VNDC has upgraded security mechanism by activating the Smart OTP feature - now you can activate Smart OTP through the following two simple steps:
After logging in, the application's main screen will asking to activate SmartOTP, select "Activate now".
The application requires an OTP authentication code. Enter the correct 4-digit OTP verification code sent to you via registered email address or registered phone number, then click “Verify”.
Smart OTP has been successfully activated, now you can use it to verify transactions. Press "Continue" to continue using the application.
Similar to the Smart OTP feature of banking apps, when Smart OTP is activated, for every transaction, instead of entering the OTP received from email or phone number (SMS), users will get the OTP on the app to verify transactions.
- The Smart OTP code appears in “Smart OTP” in the Settings Menu and changes automatically every 30 seconds.
- This OTP will be verified with only one device that the user is using and installing the VNDC Wallet App.
Besides, users can also use the Smart OTP feature on other Apps such as Google Authenticator or Duo Security. Scan or copy the activation code as follows:
