On-chain transaction (send to and receive from ERC-20 wallets)

Send to and receive digital currencies from any ERC-20 wallet, completely free

Currently On-chain transactions (except Fast Transfer ones) to ERC-20 wallets are free on the VNDC Wallet app. Just follow the steps below:

How to Receive On-chain:

Step 1: 

At the main screen of the VNDC Wallet Pro mobile app, tạp on the digital currency you would like to receive from your ERC-20 wallet. (In the following example, the received digital currency would be ETH.)

 

Step 2:

Use either of the following ways to transfer money from any ERC-20 wallet to your VNDC wallet:

  • Scan the QR code on the screen with the application of the wallet/platform that you are using to transfer money
  • Copy the VNDC wallet address (in the box below the QR code) and use it as the destination address for the transfer

Note: The amount of time needed for the transfer may vary depending on the status of the blockchain system.

 

How to Send On-chain:

Preparation Step:

To prepare for an On-chain transaction, you will have to turn on Send On-chain by doing as follow: From the main screen of VNDC Wallet Pro, tap on the "Settings" button (top left corner, in the shape of 3 dashes).

Tap on the toggle next to "Send On-chain" to turn this function on. You will be required to type in the OTP verification code that was sent to your registered phone number/email address. After this process, you can start sending On-chain.

 

Step 1:

At the main screen of the VNDC Wallet Pro mobile app, tạp on the digital currency you would like to send to your ERC-20 wallet. (In the following example, the digital currency being sent would be ETH.)

 

Step 2:

After tapping on the digital currency you would like to send (for this example, the currency being sent will be ETH), the Wallet screen for that currency would appear. Tap on Send On-chain:

 

Step 3:

At this step, there are 2 scenarios:

Scenario 1: If you still haven't turned on Send On-chain (See "Preparation Step above), the following screen appears. Just tap "Enable now" and type in the OTP verification code sent to your registered phone number/email address to continue with the Send On-chain process (More instructions below).

 

Scenario 2: You have turned on Send On-chain (by following the Preparation Step or finishing Scenario 1 above):

Send On-chain screen appears. In the “Your Wallet Address” box, type the exact address of the ERC-20 wallet you want to transfer money to or tap on the QR Code Scan icon on the right side of the box to scan the QR code of the wallet you would like to sent to.

Choose the speed at which you want to send: Normal speed (Free) or Fast (Paid). Type in the amount you want to send and tap Send.

Note:

  • Tap “Accept” if the "Allow VNDC Wallet to take pictures" pop-up appears to allow the app to scan QR codes with your phone's camera.
  • If the scanned QR code is of another VNDC Wallet, Off-chain transaction will be used instead for a quicker, zero-fee transfer
  • Tap “Max” on the right side of the Amount box to send all remaining amount of the chosen currency.
  • VNDC is not responsible for the loss of your money caused by typing in the incorrect wallet address or sending the wrong type of currency. Please double check every time you make a transaction.
  • How to find the address of your ERC-20 wallet/fund/...: Please refer to the support documents of your platform for information.

 

Step 4:

The Transaction Detail screen appears. Check the details again for the last time before tapping Send Now.

 

Step 5:

Security Verification screen appears. You will be required to verify the transaction with the OTP sent to your registered phone number AND email address.

Tap on each of the options shown below (Phone verification and Email verification), type in the OTP code sent to your phone number/email address to finish the process.

After verifying successfully through both Phone and Email (a green tick is shown in front of each option on the screen), you can now tap "Send". The Send On-chain process is completed.

 

Note: The amount of time needed for the transfer may vary depending on the status of the blockchain system.
